Look… LOOK… I gotta level with you. HCPS brings the flavor, the creativity, the friendly collaborative nature, the flexibility, the passion to make something mind blowing… all of it.
I challenged Megan to dream up something special, themed after the book “The Little Prince,” for our one-year-old’s first birthday party. What she created exceeded every possible expectation. It was stunning, featuring beautiful craftsmanship, artistry and obvious love and attention to every detail. It was the center piece of our party decor, and took the sophistication of our shindig up several notches.
When it came time to cut the cake, more than a few attendees commented how heartbreaking it would be. And they might never have forgiven me had it not tasted so, SO amazing. Everyone was floored, with one extra-particular, self-proclaimed cake connoisseur calling it the best cake he’d ever tasted. Another attendee doesn’t even like cake, but this made her a believer.
This isn’t so much a recommendation as much as it is sound life advice: if you have a special event and want the very best for you and your guests, look no further than Haute Cakes. The cake Haute Cakes made was incredibly beautiful and was the hit of the birthday party! However, its beauty was far surpassed by how delicious it was. I have made a lot of cakes (from scratch) in my life and I have to say this was one of the best cakes I have ever eaten. We had the raspberry/white chocolate and it was amazing!

Haute Cakes Pastry Shop created the most beautiful cake for my daughter (Elizabeth) and Son-in-Laws (Daniel) wedding cake. In fact you can see it in the banner for Haute Cakes, it’s the one with the stripes going around and the dots. It just had real flowers on it. We did have 2 different cake flavors. Oh it was soooooo good. If you need a fantastic cake with a flare for the original, Haute Cakes is the place to go. Can’t say enough great things about these guys.

I recently had the most incredible experience with Haute Cakes. From start to finish, everything was flawless! I sent them three inspiration photos for a custom cake, and not only did they take my ideas to heart, but they elevated the design to something truly spectacular. The final product was better than I could have imagined! Every detail was on point, and it felt like they understood exactly what I wanted. On top of that, the cake didn’t just look amazing, it tasted great. Each layer was fresh, moist, and flavorful. Their attention to detail in both design and taste truly set them apart. I can’t recommend them enough for anyone looking for a memorable and delicious cake!

My sister-in-law was celebrating her 40th and I wanted a special cake. Haute cakes did an amazing job! Not only was the cake beautiful, it was delicious. The macaroons were amazing. The little touches, the name and flowers, were just gorgeous! Megan and her team are awesome. Easy communication made the process super efficient and easy.

I was having a spritz-themed birthday party and what better cake to have than an Aperol bottle! I reached out to Haute Cakes and they were on it! Megan was fast in responding to email and the process was flawless. The cake turned out fabulous and all of my guests (and myself) were blown away. The flavor was funfetti with vanilla buttercream and it was so tasty that I didn’t want the cake to end…I also ordered a second cake due to the number of guests that was equally delicious and gorgeous! My sister has been using Haute Cakes for years and this is my first time for myself and I can’t wait to have another event where there is a cake! Super cute local shop with delicious cupcakes, cookies, cheesecake, ice cream sandwiches, “Rice Krispie” treats, and custom cakes! They even have Paint-Your-Own cookies and Make-Your-Own Sprinkle Bar to take home a custom assortment of fun Sprinkles. Also gifts, candles and stickers. So cute! LOTS of Taylor Swift inspired gifts.

LOVE everything about this place! The atmosphere is so dang cute, and they have the best macarons we’ve ever gotten–and this is coming from a kid who’s practically a connoisseur. We love their baked goods, and hope they offer summer camps next year because it’ll be a must-do for us. I can’t wait to try one of their workshops!

Taking classes at Haute Cakes is always so much fun and such a great learning experience. Megan and her staff are so supportive and make everything seem so doable. Highly recommend any class that interests you! And don’t go home without some macarons!

We ordered a 3-tiered cake and a variety of decadent items for a dessert bar from Haute Cakes. Everything looked and was delicious. Megan was so helpful when it came to addressing how to handle the predicted hot weather, making sure we managed the various allergies of some of the guests, and making the cake and dessert bars beautiful.

Haute Cakes’ summer camp was just so fun for my 13-year-old! She loved every minute of it

My daughter and I really like attending the workshops. Not only are they great at the hands on experience but they are really fun!! Their baked goods are amazing as far as how beautiful and delicious which is hard because sometimes you sacrifice one for the other but not here! Everyone is so nice and polite as well, a truly amazing team!

I ordered 4 dozen macarons for my daughter graduation party. The theme was desserts and dancing. They were amazing. All the flavors were delicious. Perfect light little treats that went with the theme. We should have ordered more. Thank you again we will be coming back.

Whenever I make it out to old town Warrenton, HCPS is a *mandatory* stop. Of all of the charms that Warrenton has to offer (and especially the Main Street charms), HCPS is at the very top of that list. Cupcakes, macarons, eclairs… all are my weaknesses and I can’t resist. I’ve stopped trying and I just enjoy the delish of it all. I also recently was fortunate to have a slice of a HCPS custom birthday cake which was also the bomb. Five stars – I love the shop, the setting, the staff and the treats.

We have always been a fan of their goodies and the amazing atmosphere in the bakery, so we knew exactly where to go for my sister’s lemon themed baby shower cake and cookie favors. Megan and her team made the most beautiful cake! When we took it out, my sister said it was even more beautiful than her wedding cake! The guests were amazed and some couldn’t believe it was real. The taste and texture were incredible —usually a cake this beautiful would be dry or dense but this was so fluffy and moist. We ordered macaroons and cupcakes from Haute cakes and let me just say we were impressed!!! Everything was delicious and the cupcakes were moist, flavorful and the icing was to die for! Not the sugary junk you get with store bought treats but creamy, dense, just the right amount of sweetness and flavor, type of icing! We will definitely use them again in the future and would recommend them to anyone. If you are a macaroon lover like my daughter, you will not be disappointed with them either! Customer service was great, and we used delivery for our event which went well and without any issues!

We’ve been going here every weekend with our kiddos for years. Everything in this shop is absolutely delicious I’ve never been disappointed. But I gotta be honest we just tried their carrot cake and holy mackerel! It was easily the best thing I’ve ever eaten in my entire life. And just being honest I’m a 38 year old fat woman, pretty much past her prime, long story short I’m committed at this point to never being a size 2 again so I take my desert very seriously. If I were stranded in the middle of the Sahara and I had a choice between the carrot cake and a glass of water I’m picking the cake. If you’re reading this, get in your car immediately, pop over to the shop, and do yourself a favor pick up a few slices because once you have one you will not be able to stop. Y’all better keep this on the menu year round!!!

I had the opportunity to try desserts from here for the first time today. I ordered on doordash after seeing it was an option, but I had heard about this new dessert place back in December. I made some mistakes using the app and selecting my options and Megan call me from the store to verify if those were the options I really wanted before accepting my order and giving me the opportunity to go on the app and make sure to add the correct items to my order. I really appreciate it the great customer service, how well everything was packaged and came assembled to me. The cupcakes were absolutely delicious! I have baked and bought really amazing cupcakes, but what I really loved about these cupcakes was that the flavors were bursting in my mouth and so fresh but sugar level did not overwhelm me. This is the first cupcake I’ve ever had where I didn’t feel like I had to drink water or milk afterwards to rinse the sugar out my mouth, not to say it wasn’t sweet but it was actually balanced in all the right ways. The cupcake itself was very fluffy and the frosting was very light, airy but yet very creamy. My husband and I really enjoyed these cupcakes and we will definitely have to try it in person soon. I might have sent pictures to the management of my job company saying whenever they want to award me or show appreciation there’s a place in my town that they can order me cupcakes on doordash 👀
